So…… our finale  for Swellendam … The Greatest Show For Earth…. words again fall short of this incredible experience. This was a phenomenal result of co creation and immense talent from within Soul Circus, the community and Cape Town.

Over the 3 weeks our tented kitchen had become our evening hang out and I could hear the jamming until late into the night as the Soul Circus Kitchen Band sang, laughed, shared and created magic.

The result of witnessing the show as a guest had me in tears on a number of occasions during the evening. An event that was attended by around 300 people, the singing, poetry, dancing was interspersed with showcasing our 9 dreamers and honouring them for what they had achieved in their communities.

Here are a few snippets of this incredible experience. Recognition and deep respect to all those stepped in and shared their gifts … you were amazing. For the incredible ones how pulled this all together in less than 2 weeks – I take my hat off to you, and a big shout out to Gearhouse in Cape Town for bringing all the equipment and dong all the sound and lighting.
